Hi, I’m Catherine.
But more importantly, I’m here to get to know you.
There is a you beneath the version of yourself you've learned to be.
Beneath the expectations. Beneath the roles. Beneath the ways you've adapted to relationships, work, family, and the world around you.
The masks we wear serve a purpose. They help us move through daily life, meet responsibilities, and belong. But sometimes we've worn them for so long that we forget they're masks at all. Other times, a role that once fit begins to feel uncomfortable—like an old suit that's become too tight in the shoulders. We sense something is no longer working, but we're not quite sure how to set it down or what we'll find underneath.
We all need a space where those layers can soften.
A space to pause, listen inward, and reconnect with the deeper parts of ourselves that may have been drowned out by obligation, expectation, or survival.
Therapy can be that space.
A space where you can bring your whole self—your fears, grief, questions, hopes, contradictions, and longings—and know that everything you bring will be met with compassion, curiosity, confidentiality, and respect.
As a therapist in Austin, I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, high achievement pressures, identity exploration, relational repair, and non-traditional relationship structures.
Together, we'll explore the landscape of your inner world, uncover patterns that no longer serve you, and help you move toward a life that feels more connected, meaningful, and authentically your own.
My role is not to tell you who you are. It's to help create the conditions where you can discover that for yourself.
If you're looking for therapy in Austin and would like to explore whether I’m a good fit, schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation at (512) 387-0941.
My Approach
My approach to psychotherapy offers a space to widen the lens, slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with what matters most.
Together, we'll explore the patterns, experiences, and emotions that may be keeping you stuck, while building greater clarity, connection, and emotional wellbeing — so that you can find a path back to yourself.
I practice psychotherapy from a trauma-informed, Bowenian family systems perspective, incorporating interpersonal neurobiology, somatic, and nature-based interventions.
